Behind 『메모리아(Memoria)』 – A Journey Between Emotion and Memory


 Hello, I'm an aspiring scenario writer from Korea, and 『Memoria』 is the very first visual novel I’ve written and released.

I wanted to use this Devlog to share why I made this game, and what it means to me.

Why did I create this game?

『Memoria』 began with a simple but haunting question:
“If we lose a memory… do we also lose the feelings tied to it?”

Sometimes we wish to forget painful memories.
But those memories often hold the people we loved, the time we shared, and pieces of who we are.
This story explores the fragile process of loss and recovery.

What kind of game is it?

『Memoria』 is a short, emotionally driven sci-fi visual novel.

  • Playtime: 15~20 minutes

  • Endings: 1 true ending, 3 bad endings

  • Themes: Dystopia, emotion, psychological healing

You play as Renge, a cold and stubborn high school girl who loses her memories after a mysterious attack.
As she wanders through the ruins of her town, she gradually uncovers what was lost — and what still remains.


A note to players

This game doesn’t rely on flashy visuals or complex mechanics.
Instead, I tried to focus on the emotional flow and narrative rhythm.

Even though the game is short, I hope it leaves a lingering impression on your heart.
